The winners of THE BEST HOTELS in Austria 2025 have been announced. Our warmest congratulations.
Economic weakness and the weather gods, turbulence at our big German neighbor and worries about high labor costs did not make life any easier for our nominees for Austria's Best Hotels 2025. Our best hotels not only had to maintain their already extremely high service and quality standards. They also had to navigate hard to reach new groups of guests. Fortunately, the fact that regular guests remain loyal to their Austrian hosts is a blessing. We believe this is a clear sign that Austria's award-winning hoteliers will continue to stand for top quality in 2025.
This year, it was harder than ever for jurors and readers to come to their final decision on the really great ones, the best of the year. So here they are: The winners of the big Connoisseur Circle rating 2025. We ask the best hotels in Austria to step in front of the curtain. Because more votes were cast in 2025 and hotels were therefore scrutinized even more closely, the results of all the hotels' and resorts' performances are documented more impressively than ever before. Initially, Connoisseur Circle drew on the results of the best "satisfaction tester" in the world: TrustYou, www.trustyou.com
From test factors specified by Connoisseur Circle - for example the highest service quality - the editorial team, together with the digital professionals from TrustYou, determines a data set that serves as the basis for the final selection. The second factor then comes into play: subjective market knowledge and in-depth personal experience. In a test and evaluation phase lasting several weeks, Connoisseur readers and users were once again invited to take part in the voting this year - all online. A specially developed evaluation process enabled more than 288,000 participants to enter their personal impressions of each of the nominated hotels into the system based on TrustYou's findings.
All the winners ccircle.cc/rating/die-besten-hotels-oesterreich/alle-hotels are honored and described in detail on our social media channels and in our e-magazines, in Connoisseur Circle print throughout Germany, in lounges and travel agencies, at kiosks and to our Connoisseurs, who are supplied with the printed magazine or digitally.
As in the previous year, the evaluation was fair and comprehensible: Only the first three hotels - from 1 to 3 - are ranked as top winners, all others in the respective category tested are awarded equal status.
