Falkensteiner welcomes new team members
The Falkensteiner Michaeler Tourism Group (FMTG) welcomes several experienced professionals to the team. Anita Paic, a renowned expert in the industry, takes over responsibility for the further development of the marketing strategy of Falkensteiner Hotels & Residences as Group Director of Marketing. At the same time, Renata Baskovec, an experienced HR expert, joins the company as Corporate Director of Human Resources and takes over all HR agendas of the tourism group. In addition, Celine Whyte joins the FMTG Corporate Communications team as PR Manager.
Anita Paic, Group Director of Marketing
Anita Paic takes up her role as Group Director of Marketing with an impressive professional background. She holds an Executive MBA from the Vienna University of Economics and Business and an MA in Business and Organizational Psychology from the Danube University Krems. She began her career in 1991 at Marriott International, where she held various positions in Sales & Marketing for 18 years. She then worked as Head of the Sales Department at Vereinigte Bühnen Wien. There she was responsible for commercial strategies, revenue management and reservation management. In 2016, she moved to Hotel Sacher as Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, where she was responsible for all sales & marketing agendas of the Sacher Group, rebranding and the optimization of distribution in the luxury segment. In addition to her work at FMTG, Paic also works as a marketing and sales lecturer. Her goal at Falkensteiner is to strengthen and further develop the brand and expand international brand awareness.
Renata Baskovec, Corporate Director of Human Resources
Renata Baskovec joins FMTG as Corporate Director of Human Resources and brings with her extensive experience in personnel management. She knows the hotel industry from both the operator and the investor and developer side. Baskovec has worked for renowned hotel groups such as Kempinski and Wyndham and was most recently responsible for HR management at the Grand Hotel Wien. In the last two years, she has also worked as an independent management consultant, primarily in the 5-star hotel industry and in the healthcare sector. Baskovec is also a lecturer in tourism management at the SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences in Berlin and in Dresden for the law and HR modules.
Reinforcement in FMTG corporate communications
The FMTG corporate communications team has been strengthened with Celine Whyte. Born in Lower Austria, she has gained experience in media support for the Austrian National Bank's Euro Info Tour and in the Branding & Advertising department of OMV AG. Most recently, she worked as PR and Marketing Manager in an advertising agency, where she looked after clients from the real estate sector, was involved in event planning and developed communication strategies. In her new position as PR Manager at FMTG, she supports the team of Alexandra Geyer, Director of PR & Public Affairs, with all PR agendas.
