Vietnam Airlines: New connections to Bali

Vietnam Airlines is launching a new service from the Ho Chi Minh City hub to Denpasar from June. This should also please passengers from Germany, as they will benefit from convenient connections to the vacation destination Bali . From June 1, four flights per week are planned on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday and the frequency is to be increased to daily connections from July. All flights will be operated with Airbus A321 . The new route is Vietnam Airlines' second direct connection between Vietnam and Indonesia, bringing the total number of weekly flights between the two countries to 14. Passengers from Frankfurt and Munich can look forward to short connecting times in Ho Chi Minh City on both the outbound and return flights.

Vietnam Airlines is the only airline that connects Germany non-stop with Vietnam . It flies daily from Frankfurt to Hanoi and five times a week to Ho Chi Minh City. Since October 2024, it has also been flying twice a week from Munich to Hanoi and twice a week to Ho Chi Minh City. In total, Vietnam Airlines offers connections to 95 destinations in 17 countries, including connecting flights to over 22 domestic destinations and other destinations in Indochina, Asia and Australia. When booking long-haul and connecting flights at the same time, the airline offers a discount of more than 50 percent on all onward flights compared to the official fares.

Dang Ngoc Hoa, CEO of Vietnam Airlines, plans to further expand the airline's route network through new partnerships with airlines and stakeholders in the Indonesian market . He also announced plans to increase flight frequencies and improve service quality at all customer touchpoints. In 2024, air traffic between Vietnam and Indonesia exceeded 800,000 passengers, an increase of 61 percent compared to 2019.
