Vacation for everyone!

What makes a good family hotel

In today's stressful world, families are looking for a retreat, something special, extraordinary experiences and relaxation from the stresses of everyday life. That's why a good family hotel must cater to everyone and offer time for the children as well as time for yourself and time for togetherness. This goes far beyond the offer of normal childcare. Nowadays, families expect more from childcare than just a nice playroom with a few friendly childminders.

The trend is clearly moving towards a well-thought-out overall concept for family hotels. Depending on the target group, this overall concept includes high-quality childcare with a selected educational program and many interesting outdoor activities. But it also includes clever solutions for family accommodation with separate children's rooms, good room layouts in the hotel, good separation of areas for families and areas for couples - adults-only SPAs have proven their worth here, for example - as well as a good culinary concept for families.

However, this should include more than just a separate children's menu and it should offer creative cuisine for children and not just pasta with tomato sauce. There should also be childcare during dinner so that parents can eat in peace. Discerning families also like it when children can pursue various hobbies on vacation. A program with activities for the whole family encourages families to undertake activities together. In addition to all these factors, the hotel must of course also meet the highest standards in all other areas. Ideally, the overall concept must fit together perfectly.
