DSR Hotel Holding acquires stake in MIRA Hotels & Resorts

DSR Hotel Holding is expanding and acquiring a 75 percent stake in the Italian hotel company MIRA Hotels & Resorts, based in Affi on Lake Garda. The aim is to grow with additional hotels on the Italian market. A-ROSA, aja and Henri Hotels as well as brands from the hotel portfolio of the joint venture partner DER Touristik are to be created in Italy in future by taking over existing properties and building new ones. The focus is primarily on Lake Garda, the Adriatic, Tuscany, the Italian Alps and the most attractive tourist cities. MIRA and DSR Hotels will remain independent brands.

There are even more opportunities in Italy than in Germany to take over family-run hotels as well as new buildings.

MIRA currently has four hotels and resorts in the four-star superior category in Piedmont, Tuscany, Apulia and Sicily. The three leased hotels, Alagna Mountain Resort & Spa in Alagna, Acaya Golf Resort & Spa in Lecce and Borgo di Luce I Monasteri Golf Resort & Spa in Sicily, as well as the management company Riva Toscana Golf Resort & Spa stand for Italian hospitality in first-class locations and combine a focus on wellness, culinary delights and golf. DSR Hotel Holding is a subsidiary of Deutsche Seereederei and has been a joint venture partner of DER Touristik Group since 2021.
