New Four Seasons top

Alejandro Reynal

Four Seasons has appointed Alejandro Reynal (49) as President and CEO with effect from October 17. He succeeds John Davison, who is retiring but will remain a member of the Board of Directors. Reynal looks back on more than 20 years of management experience, including in the global travel and hotel industry. Most recently, he held the same position at the luxury resort management and leisure travel group, Apple Leasure Group, part of Hyatt Hotels Corporation.

"Alejandro joins Four Seasons as we embark on a new chapter that builds on our legacy of success and a culture we have shared for more than 60 years," said Isadore Sharp, founder and chairman of Four Seasons. "He is a proven leader and executive and, more importantly, a person of integrity with a deep commitment to excellence and a keen understanding of Four Seasons' values and a genuine heart."

Reynal will lead Four Seasons through its next phase of development as one of the world's leading luxury brands, adds Michael Larson, Chief Investment Officer of Cascade Investment, the majority owner of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. Recently, Four Seasons opened its 50th property, announced a bespoke yacht offering and celebrated the maiden flight of a new private jet.
