New management at Paradiso
Badrutt's Palace Hotel takes over in St. Moritz
Badrutt's Plaace Hotel in the heart of St. Moritz has been the place to be for winter sports fans and summer vacationers since 1896. The hotel legend, known for its exceptional service, elegant atmosphere and the many stories that surround it, will now take over the management of the famous El Paradiso with its restaurant and members' club at the start of the 2021/2022 winter season. This means that a piece of Badrutt's Palace is moving directly into the Corviglia ski area, St. Moritz's local mountain.
The prestigious El Paradiso is one of the most popular hotspots right next to the piste. For generations, travelers from all over the world have been coming to the sun terrace in the Engadin to enjoy the view of the impressive mountain panorama. What was very good remains. For example, the lively and playful character of the restaurant. What was good will get even better. Because from December 2021, Badrutt's Palace will bring its attentive service, exclusive events, culinary highlights and top-class entertainment to paradise. In summer and winter.
Richard Leuenberger, Managing Director of Badrutt's Palace, and Dr. Erek Nuener, Board Member of KUSANA and President of the Board of Directors of El Paradiso Hospitality Group AG, are delighted with the alliance: "We share with Badrutt's Palace the commitment and passion that are the secrets of our success. This valuable partnership offers KUSANA the advantage of entrusting the future of El Paradiso to the capable hands of Badrutt's Palace, while we can maintain our standards and reach a new level of success together," says Dr. Erek Nuener. "We are delighted to be working with our friends at KUSANA to offer the residents and guests of the Engadin a new and exciting gastronomic concept," Leuenberger is quoted as saying.
Details about the nature of the changes and innovations are not yet available, but Leuenberger promises that these will be published in the coming weeks. "But we can already guarantee that we will spoil our guests and El Paradiso club members with culinary delights and entertainment at the highest level in addition to the unique panoramic view," says the Managing Director of Badrutt's Palace. It is also clear that in St. Moritz and beyond, KUSANA and its owners, the Engelhorn family, are known for extraordinary events and magical locations. The International St. Moritz Automobile Weeks, for example, are well-known to many, as are El Paradiso, Lej da Staz and La Rösa.
