New communications expert for Qatar Tourism

Qatar Tourism appoints Deveekaa Nijhawan as Head of International PR and Communications Team

       

PR expert Deveekaa Nijhawa is now responsible for the communicative marketing of Qatar Tourism in the key markets of India, Great Britain, Germany, Australia, the United Arab Emirates and others. After more than 10 years of experience in PR and communications in the hospitality business, Deveekaa Nijhawa is now looking forward to the new challenges at Qatar Tourism: "I am looking forward to developing and implementing a holistic PR and communications strategy to position Qatar as a popular travel destination while promoting the country's rich cultural heritage and diverse offerings."

As part of the "Qatar National Vision 2030" tourism strategy, Qatar Tourism aims to welcome six million visitors annually by 2030. This is to be achieved by significantly improving and expanding the country's tourism offering. Deveekaa will execute Qatar Tourism's tailored global communications campaigns, with a focus on key markets.
