Additional areas of responsibility for Robert Lowe

Mandarin Oriental has announced the appointment of Robert Lowe as General Manager of Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid. Lowe will also retain his position as Area Vice President, Operations, where he will now oversee the operations of Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona, Mandarin Oriental, Canouan and the opening of Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino.

A native of Argentina, he was previously General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, New York and Area Vice President, Operations, responsible for Mandarin Oriental, Boston and Mandarin Oriental, Santiago as well as The Residences at Mandarin Oriental, Fifth Avenue New York and Beverly Hills.

Lowe looks back on more than 30 years of experience. He began his career with the hotel group in 1999 as Director of Sales and Marketing at Mandarin Oriental, San Francisco, before being appointed Hotel Manager in 2005. He then held several positions within the company as Hotel Manager in Washington and New York before being appointed General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, Atlanta in 2016 and subsequently General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, Miami.

Since 2018, Lowe has been Area Vice President, Operations and was responsible for Mandarin Oriental, Santiago and the development of Mandarin Oriental, Boca Raton.
