Explora Journeys to offer new "By Appointment" service in German

MSC luxury brand Explora Journeys has launched a 'By Appointment' service for travel agents. After the official launch in November, agents can call a dedicated Experience phone number or click 'Call' on the Explora Journeys website to make an appointment with an account manager and avoid waiting on hold. This way, they can reserve one or more suites on the eight inaugural voyages of the Explora I, which is scheduled to set sail on May 16, 2023, and later convert it into a booking. They will receive the commission directly afterwards. "Waiting lists for the Explora II will also be available via the service from spring 2022," explains Chris Austin, Chief Sales Officer of Explora Journeys. The second ship is scheduled to enter service in spring 2024, with two more to follow in 2025 and 2026.

"We will maintain the 'By Appointment' indefinitely," Austin continues. Consultations are currently being held in English. "We expect to be able to offer our service in German, Italian, French and Spanish in due course."

Initiatives for travel agency partners

"The support from the travel consultants so far has been outstanding," says Austin. "Our engagement has followed a very personal approach, using the tools available to us such as Teams and Zoom to meet with partners and tell our brand story."
