Expansion and new hotel projects

Somabay sets new standards with exclusive hotel and residential projects in 2025. One milestone is the partnership with Marriott International , which will lead to the opening of an Autograph Collection Resort. Located directly on the beach, the luxury resort offers 194 stylish rooms, exclusive restaurants, a modern spa and numerous leisure facilities.

Another highlight is the launch of the Mazeej Hotels & Residences , which combine minimalist luxury with a closeness to nature. Spacious villas and lofts with a sustainable design offer a unique living concept.

Sport & Lifestyle: New offers for active people and digital nomads

The opening of the Kaktus Hotel & Co-Working Hub creates a hotspot for athletes, digital nomads and active families. State-of-the-art fitness areas, flexible workspaces and innovative sports programs make the concept unique.

The Soma Sports Arena is developing into an international center for sports tourism with Olympic swimming pools, padel and tennis courts as well as soccer pitches. In February 2025, the World Aquatics Open Water Swimming World Cup was successfully held here.

For water sports fans, the Duotone Pro Center is opening on WYTE Beach, offering first-class conditions for kitesurfers and wingfoil enthusiasts.

Sustainability and infrastructure modernization

Somabay is focusing on sustainable developments and modernizing its existing infrastructure. In addition to the renovation of the Sheraton Somabay and Kempinski Hotel , a three-kilometer-long promenade is being created that will serve as a vibrant meeting place for guests and residents.
