Change of management at Severin*s Resort & Spa on Sylt

GM Christian Siegling passes on the sceptre

Christian Siegling, who played a key role in shaping the Severin*s Resort & Spa on Sylt for ten years, handed over the reins to his successor Max Westphal on June 15. Westphal can look back on more than 20 years of experience, including a stint at The Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland. He was Assistant Food & Beverage Manager at the Althoff Seehotel Überfahrt on Lake Tegernsee and the InterContinental Hotel Berlin, and in November 2017 he moved to the Fairmont Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten in Hamburg as F&B Director and oversaw the successful repositioning, including construction measures, of the gastronomic offerings "Der Weinkeller" and "Jahreszeiten Grill". As Director of Operations, he oversaw the opening of the Fairmont Golden Prague.

"We would like to thank Christian Siegling and his commitment over the last ten years, which has helped to position the resort as one of the best in the German-speaking world. At the same time, we are delighted to welcome Max Westphal as a highly suitable successor and to actively support him in this new role," explains Markus Griesenbeck, Managing Director of Atlantic Hotels.
