AMADEUS Mira: New river cruise ship announced for 2027

New construction will be underway on the Rhine, Main and Danube

The AMADEUS Mira is scheduled to operate on the Rhine, Main and Danube from 2027. She will carry 158 passengers and have 12 suites in the usual exclusive AMADEUS design as well as 67 spacious cabins . The shipping company Lüftner Cruises is once again focusing on sustainability for this new build: in addition to numerous energy-efficient features, the AMADEUS Mira will also be equipped with an optimized, sophisticated hybrid electric drive system .

The new ship is expected to be bookable for the 2027 season from January 2026 .
