The first Italian example of the W Hotels can be found with the W Rome - how could it be otherwise - in the heart of the eternal city. 147 rooms and 15 suites are spread across two historic palazzi from the 19th century.

The unique location of the W Rome is particularly appealing: just a few minutes away from the mega tourist hotspot of the Spanish Steps and at the same time situated in the tranquil district around Via Veneto.

The mix of old and new conceived by Meyer Davis Studio is particularly beautiful: colorful, modern designer furniture meets the historic stone walls. Reflective surfaces lend the ambience of the W Rom a contemporary flair, while the "secret garden" with traditional Italian stone, romantic benches and water fountains gives an insight into what life must have been like in the palazzi around 200 years ago. The chilled-out seating areas of the W Lounge are lined with sculptures and works of art, while black and gray marble shines on the floor.

Top chef Ciccio Sultano brings Sicilian table culture to Rome with his restaurant Giano and creates traditional Sicilian dishes with a contemporary twist. Just six months after opening, the Giardino Clandestino courtyard is home to one of Rome's hippest bars with Sicilian street food, cool DJ sounds at weekends and a high celebrity factor. Elegant Romans also like to come here, as well as to the chic roof terrace with pool. A sophisticated sundowner or extended gin and tonic parties late into the night: anything is possible here.
