Far away from any urban civilization, on the edge of the Great Rift Valley in the middle of the Masai Mara, andBeyond Bateleur Camp welcomes its guests. Twenty years after its opening, the popular safari lodge was given a new look in 2018 . The aim was to preserve the charm and atmosphere of the lodge while incorporating new ideas. The nine tents are spread over two camps and offer plenty of space for privacy. The bathrooms are flanked by small private courtyards made of natural stone with large bathtubs and an indoor and outdoor shower. Loungers on the private terraces invite you to spend quiet afternoons enjoying the view over the vastness of the Masai Mara. Each tent is equipped with a wooden flap through which the personal butler hands a tray of freshly brewed coffee or infused tea before the first safari.

Another highlight are two pools , which offer a unique view of the savannah from their large decks. A spa area with selected treatments and massages awaits wellness enthusiasts; thanks to retractable windows, you can even watch the animals while working out in the fitness studio.

The new architecture has been adapted to suit the animals' sneak paths, so that many animal species can now get much closer to the camp.
