Tropical greenery, snow-white sand and crystal-clear lagoons: it is the colorful diversity that makes the island of Mauritius a true paradise. On the wind-protected west coast, the famous postcard beach of Flic en Flac beckons, while the east of the island fascinates with its more pristine natural landscape. With a total of four exclusive and equally elegant houses, the luxury group Sunlife delights guests on both sides of the island. The long-established Mauritian hotel brand is known for its relaxed lifestyle in a luxurious ambience. With the new name - Sun Resorts has become Sunlife - the "Come Alive Collection" is also being launched. The new concept offers unique vacation experiences that underline the individual character of each hotel and promises resort guests very special moments - for couples, families and friends alike.

In the 5-star hotel Sugar Beach on the west coast, the ambience is reminiscent of the time of the Mauritian sugar barons. Not only is the resort itself decorated in white colonial style, but the activities on offer there also enchant with their nostalgic charm. Play a game of "crazy croquet" on the green lawn in front of the Manor House and swing the rackets in style. A day on the beach is sweetened by afternoon tea, with local teas or a chilled glass of champagne. Guests can create their own personal fragrance in the "L' Atelier des Sens" workshop together with perfumer Puschkar. A total of 128 different fragrance components are available to choose from, while the history of the perfume is explained. The "Beauty Bubble" also promises a special me-time moment. In the inflatable, air-conditioned beauty salon in the Sugar Beach garden, guests can be pampered with a manicure or pedicure with a view of the Indian Ocean.

Just one stretch of beach away is the sister hotel, the four-star Hotel La Pirogue. Here, the infectious rhythms of the "Sega Zoomba" provide plenty of fun. The dance workout created especially for Sunlife combines a mixture of Zumba with the Mauritian Sega. As a refreshment between meals, guests at La Pirogue are treated to sweet and sour "Marsan Confit". These small treats made from fruit or vegetables are an integral part of the culture. Every family in Mauritius has its own tradition, which a cyclist storyteller is happy to tell you about during a tasting. Years ago, La Pirogue placed a special focus on protecting the oceans. Targeted coral farming is used to counteract the worldwide extinction of corals, and hotel guests can also get involved in coral farming. Together with marine biologists, young corals are grown and planted on the reef in a coral garden. The "Pirogue Painting" invites guests to let off steam creatively. Guests can embellish a traditional boat, a pirogue, with creative drawings and personal messages.

On the east coast of the island , the five-star Long Beach Hotel welcomes its guests. The Santé bar offers a unique cocktail experience. Locally inspired drinks with elegant twists are served, ranging from classic party drinks to little helpers against jet lag. Relaxation is the order of the day at "swing & drift". Private beach chairs invite you to recharge your batteries to the sound of palm fronds and waves. And when the spa team skillfully massages away neck knots and tension, paradise is not far away.
