Mar-Bella Collection

Ionian Places of Longing

The Mar-Bella Collection spans the Ionian Sea—four properties kicking off the season with exciting new features.
As the morning light breaks over the green slopes of Corfu and the coasts of Epirus , the Mar-Bella Collection appears like a mosaic of different moods: families laughing at the water park; couples having breakfast on a quiet terrace; teenagers relaxing in the Teens’ Lounge. Four five-star properties—MarBella, Nido, Avali, and Elix—tell the same story of consciously lived luxury, yet each interprets it differently. On Corfu, MarBella, Nido, and Avali are located just a few hundred meters apart, connected by a shuttle service that effortlessly brings together island vibes and diversity. At the heart of the Collection lies MarBella, nestled in gardens with views over the vast Ionian Sea. This iconic property is a sanctuary—featuring a premium all-inclusive concept that will be further refined in 2026. The Dine-Around program now opens select à la carte restaurants at all Corfu properties, allowing guests to enjoy Italian classics one evening, Greek meze by the sea the next, and modern Mediterranean cuisine in between. At MarBella itself, the new Kuzina Restaurant serves everything from light carpaccio and salads during the day to evening dishes like ossobuco Milanese and saffron risotto, while the Deck Bar & Grill transforms into a tavern.

Just a few minutes away lies Nido, adults only and a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, built like a terraced village on the hillside. Here, everything moves at a slower pace: an infinity pool, suites with ocean views—many with private pools or whirlpools—and a culinary offering that blends tradition with Mediterranean lightness. In 2026, Nido will place greater emphasis on the body as a guide—with wellness weeks that are becoming more diverse: yoga, Pilates, bodyweight workouts, and stretching.

Avali, the newest boutique retreat right on the beach at Agios Ioannis Peristeron , embodies a new generation of travel: adult-friendly, casual, yet meticulously designed. 76 rooms and suites—some with rooftop terraces, others with private pools—form the foundation, while the array of activities ranges from paddleboarding to cocktails at the Cicada Bar to open-air massages. New is Stià Grill, an open-air grill restaurant that celebrates the art of open-fire cooking. The offering is complemented by a Healthy Bar by the pool, where smoothies and light snacks accompany the day. Those who wish to experience the Ionian Sea from a more dramatic perspective can head to the mainland: Elix in Parga is nestled between the beach and dense forests, a hideaway for couples and families with older children. Here, hiking, mountain biking, water sports with professionals, and yoga on the deck are combined with culinary experiences in four restaurants whose cuisine is inspired by the sea and nature. For teenagers, Elix 2026 offers a flexible program that allows them to choose activities at their own pace.

What all properties have in common is a desire for clear spaces – both literally and figuratively. New adults-only areas, such as the à la carte breakfast at the Indigo Restaurant and the Level 10 rooftop bar at Elix, or designated zones in select F&B locations at MarBella, create retreats for tranquility without displacing families. At the same time, children’s programs are expanding to include eco- and nature-based activities, creative workshops, and small “eco-challenges”—mindfulness is naturally brought to the forefront here.
