The Iberostar Grand Packard is being given a new lease of life. A futuristic-looking two-storey structure now crowns the traditional hotel.

Just in time for the 500th anniversary of the founding of Havana, the Iberostar Grand Packard is celebrating its grand reopening. The 5-star hotel is part of the Iberostar Hotels & Resorts chain and is in a league of its own. It is located on the iconic Paseo del Prado, next to the Velasco Palace and the National Capitol. Celebrities such as Marlon Brando and Pablo Neruda have already stayed here. Now the Iberostar Grand Packard has made a statement with a spectacular extension.
The historic building housed the Hotel Biscuit in 1911, which had been operating successfully under the name Packard since the 1930s. Now, two stylish floors have been added to this traditional building like a crown. The architecture is unusual for Cuba and clearly stands out from the other ensembles. The 321 rooms and suites boast clean lines, modern design and luxurious furnishings. Lots of light streams in through the large windows. You have a magnificent view over Havana, as far as the sea. The suites in the Star Prestige area, including a sun terrace, offer exclusivity.
Culinary delights also leave nothing to be desired at the Iberostar Grand Packard. Six restaurants and three bars provide a variety of dining options. Whether in the tapas restaurant, the pool bar or in the gourmet restaurants - the typical local cuisine with its intense flavors offers a variety of culinary delights.
