During the festive season , the hotel offers unique Christmas and New Year's Eve packages at Huus Löwen and Bären. The offer is ideal for a romantic break and includes two nights for two people in Huus Bären or Huus Löwen including breakfast buffet, a bottle of champagne, rose bouquet, six-course menu in the fine-dining restaurant Bärenstobe and access to the spa and hot tub.
The gastronomy at the Appenzeller Huus is a feast for the senses. Executive Chef Peter Prüfer enchants guests with traditional specialties. In the winter months, culinary delights meet culture, for example at the so-called "Fondueplausch" in the Appenzellerstöbli or at brunch every second Sunday, with live music and Sunday roasts. The hotel also offers activities such as "fondue fork pouring", which also makes a great gift idea for Christmas and other occasions. Future plans for the Appenzeller Huus include a wellness paradise with an Alpine infinity pool and a five-star hotel, the Huus Quell. Both are due to open in 2025.
