The Killarney Park Hotel

The Killarney Park Hotel is located in the center of the charming town of Killarney, which is the gateway to Ireland's oldest national park, Killarney National Park. The Killarney Park Hotel, now run by the third generation of the Treacy family, celebrates Irish hospitality at the highest level. Homemade lemonade is served as a welcome drink. Checking in is quick and uncomplicated. We are then escorted to our room. The door of 177 opens and we stand amazed in the middle of a picturesque Irish landscape. What a magnificent wallpaper, made exclusively from original paintings from the National Gallery of Ireland! The most modern hotel comfort is combined here as a matter of course with casual opulence. From the bed, you can effortlessly switch lights on and off, dim them and open and close curtains via a display. The many thoughtful details are impressive, such as an environmentally friendly water bottle, adapter, professional hairdryer, fluffy bathrobes ... In the evening, there is a goodnight herbal tea bag by the bed. In the bathroom, there are elegant washbasins with two taps: one hot, one cold. It looks stylish and nostalgic, but it's difficult to find the right temperature. Lunch and dinner are served in the elegant "The Peregrine". Exciting news is in store for 2025. The hotel will be closed for five months this winter. Under the direction of the award-winning MDO Architects, the lobby, rooms, restaurant and garden landscape will then be redesigned. We can hardly wait and are already very excited. We have already made a note of the opening in our calendar for April 4, 2025.
