Rather, it is a well-kept country estate in finca style, which offers a great deal of privacy - and yet is only four kilometers from the center of the lively seaside resort of Sant Antoni de Portmany with its beach promenade and well-known bars and clubs such as Café del Mar. Conveniently, a rental car is already included in the booking. This is possible because the Sa Talaia only has twelve rooms and suites. These are classically furnished and - a little old-fashioned - partly in silver tones. They are spread across the main building and bungalow-like, mostly single-storey outbuildings.

The junior suites all have a beautiful terrace with a view. Due to the small number of guests, you can enjoy the peace and quiet by the large pool, in the cabanas or in one of the hammocks suspended in the park undisturbed - accompanied only by subtle background music. The excellent breakfast buffet (plus à la carte) and lunch or dinner are also free of crowds. Instead, things are very relaxed. There is a first-class chef at the stove, who is probably under-challenged here and serves excellent Balearic cuisine: For example, a kind of farmer's pan with potatoes, scrambled eggs and sobrasada sausage or the already sliced tomahawk steak tasted wonderful. Those looking for a little more culinary variety can simply visit the restaurants in the nearby sister hotel Grand Palladium Palace in Playa d'en Bossa. Sa Talaia guests can also use the spa there. That leaves the staff: they are all super friendly, but sometimes seem a little absent-minded or, like the housekeeping, tend to focus on "hurry-up service".
