Mirador de Dalt Vila
Comfortable old town retreat
the small pool on the second floor, which is equipped with sunbeds. The noise of planes arriving or departing is only occasionally a little disturbing.
Almost everything about this hotel is rather small: the lobby - or rather the reception, where a glass of very good cava is served at check-in, the pool, the restaurant Es
Mirador restaurant, the bar ... The rooms and suites, most of which are furnished with seven (!) different types of marble, are surprisingly spacious: Our junior suite was spacious and comfortable, offered very pleasant living comfort and an extremely large bathroom with natural light and a small balcony. From the balcony of the living room/bedroom - turndown unfortunately only very basic - you could watch the guests drinking coffee and discussing in the side street in front of a bar.
The beautiful terrace on the Plaza de España, where the rich à la carte breakfast is also served, is also not small. Here you can also enjoy Juan Manuel Tur's excellent cuisine on warm summer nights. He has dedicated himself to avant-garde Mediterranean cuisine, uses many regional products and, as he says, wants to "reinterpret the culinary traditions of our beautiful island of Ibiza". And he succeeds brilliantly! The restaurant also has a well-stocked wine cellar, and the wine pairing for dinner was accordingly impeccable.
