Perfect for ... Families, couples and foodies who appreciate casual luxury in a Mediterranean setting
It's hard to believe that the very first hotel in the Mar-Bella Collection celebrated its 50th birthday in 2019, because the extravagant complex built on a wooded hill with Corfiot and Venetian architectural influences and 380 rooms, suites and bungalows is impressive. Private and public pools are set amidst lush vegetation. The Anemelia Aqua Park is enthroned high above. Here, eight colorful slides and a beautiful infinity pool await young and old alike. The MarBella is one of those rare cases of resort bliss that can fulfill every need: Fine dining with premium ultra all-inclusive, sporting activities, retreats, spa and beach life on the blue-flagged Agios Ioannis Peristeron Beach. It is no wonder that the number of repeat bookings increases year after year, as the omnipresent, amiable staff consistently ensure that all guests feel at home here: So the only thing that remains is the agony of choice from 21(!) room categories. The new, sleekly styled bungalows, some of which come with a spacious private pool, are highly recommended. A detailed resort map marks the paths through the well-tended gardens towards the beach. There are plenty of comfortable daybeds - so there's no need to reserve a beach towel. Special highlights here are the deck bar and the grill restaurant, which serves family-style comfort food during the day and turns into a fine-dining seafood restaurant with "barefoot in the sand" romance in the evening.
For the 2024 season , the restaurant is to be expanded into a seafood hotspot. Also new next summer: the two Greek restaurants Commodo and Platea will be merged and relaunched as the Mediterranean all-day-dining Kuzimo restaurant with show kitchen. The MarBella Hotel offers new innovations and renovations practically every season, which is probably the reason for its continued success.
