The Round Hill is one of the most traditional luxury hotels in Jamaica.
Back in the early 1950s John Pringle, later the island's first tourism minister, laid the foundations for today's 45-hectare hideaway by building the first accommodation on a picturesque bay.
The Pineapple House with 36 spacious Ocean View and Oceanfront Rooms is located close to the beach. Incidentally, the very cozy rooms were designed by co-owner and
fashion designer Ralph Lauren cosy. The villas are of course in no way inferior to the rooms in terms of comfort and high-quality furnishings. Each of them has its own staff to provide the best all-round carefree service. Three warm ladies dressed in bright pink appeared in the morning, spoiled us with our first coffee on the terrace and prepared an extensive breakfast that left nothing to be desired - simply delightful.
By the way, Meghan and Harry appreciated this level of service at a friend's wedding in 2017 ... We enjoyed lunch and dinner - there are various meal plans, including platinum all-inclusive - on the beautiful restaurant terrace with a view of the Caribbean Sea. Even though only one restaurant was open due to the coronavirus, there was plenty of variety, from international hotel classics to themed evenings such as curry night.
The resort has its own organic garden, fruits and vegetables come from local producers.

illuminated by colorful light bulbs, you can even shake a leg. The glamorous atmosphere is indeed reminiscent of the good old 1950s. The resort is also a pioneer on the island when it comes to sustainability: it has its own wastewater treatment plant and a coral rearing program on the offshore reef.
