Hipster spot in the rainforest
Speaking of the beach: it can be reached via 235 steps - a real fitness program.
The small resort, which previously consisted of just four cabins and three villas, was recently expanded to include a modern new building with 12 Rumba Rooms, which blend harmoniously into the landscape. The spacious rooms are flooded with light thanks to large panoramic windows and sliding doors and have a very urban feel with beautiful, large-format photographs and drawings on the walls. The living space extends over two levels. From the large bathroom with walk-in shower at ground level, a few steps lead down to the living area. Unfortunately, part of the view from there is not only of the rainforest and the sea, but also of a less attractive parking lot.
The concept also includes guest communication via WhatsApp. One evening, we ordered our meal digitally to our room, or more precisely: to the balcony. The steak and lobster were really good and arrived really quickly. In any case, the waiting time seemed much shorter than in the restaurant - the design there was just a little too eighties for us to want to stay long. We couldn't complain about the quality of the food, and the service staff also did their best. The wine was refilled without hesitation because the first 12-dollar sip had turned out to be really small.
