Hofgut Hafnerleiten
Deceleration in the design cube
So it's no wonder that the Hofgut was and is fully booked even during the coronavirus crisis. Breakfast arrives in the morning in a picnic basket, the tradition of a long family table with all guests for dinner could not be maintained during the Corona period. Instead, we get a basket of starters and desserts for a cozy get-together with an aperitif in the courtyard under the open sky, and the main course is delivered to the house. The hosts were able to use the lockdown phases to press ahead with their long-planned new building with a larger kitchen and common room.
Because the Hofgut was also very popular for celebrations before Corona, of which you certainly don't notice much in the absolute privacy of the houses in the middle of the lovingly landscaped gardens with lots of greenery and plants. As an enthusiastic chef, Erwin Rückerl conjures up Mediterranean-inspired menus and will soon be giving numerous tips and tricks in his cooking and barista courses, while his wife Anja, a trained hotel manager, makes every effort to ensure that all guests feel comfortable and enjoy their offline vacation: Digital detox is intentional, there is hardly any cell phone reception, internet is only provided on express request.
