Classic with charm and Mediterranean chic

Test highlight The delicious culinary check-in and "eye wellness" in the large, Mediterranean garden
High above the Corfu Imperial, the sister hotel Eva Palace is another Grecotel on the Kommeno peninsula. Also awarded 5 stars, it is aimed at a somewhat younger, mainly German and English-speaking clientele. This hotel is no newcomer either, so the large grounds around it have developed into a beautiful garden - full of plants and as green and fragrant as Corfu itself. On our first visit to the hotel immediately after our arrival, the XXL pool is a hive of activity, while a group of sports enthusiasts are working out on the lawn. After checking in, we prefer to stay in the airy lobby for a moment and enjoy homemade lemonade, kumquats and chocolate.
We are less happy with our accommodation, a villa with a large pool: the bathroom is too small and in need of renovation; unfortunately, there is no privacy screen to a public path directly in front of our villa ...
What we definitely recommend is to book the comprehensive "The Comfort All-In Pack". This includes breakfast, lunch and dinner in the main Mediterraneo restaurant as well as an à la carte dinner in one of the other restaurants or in the Imperial or in the LuxMe Daphnila Bay Dassia hotel. So there's a lot on offer in terms of quantity, but what about the quality at Eva Palace?
Everything was completely ok, even if we liked the Imperial even more. However, Knigge would intervene with the service: Please don't clear sugar cans while you're still having breakfast! However, the charm of the resort caught us again in the evening with live music by the pool - that's how it works.
