Falkensteiner Resort Capo Boi
Five-star vacation for families
The activities program for children is correspondingly extensive. There is a kids and teen club, a soccer summer camp and a petting zoo. Surrounded by parkland, the resort with its own beach, infinity pool and spa is located just a few kilometers from the town of Villasimius. A spectacular underwater world is waiting to be discovered right in front of the hotel. Our room impressed less with its view of the children's pool, playground and stage than with its Mediterranean ambience and large four-poster bed. We missed an espresso machine in the room and water. The bathroom is minimalist and, apart from the separate toilet, is open to the living area. One annoying feature is the underpowered hairdryer, whose power button you have to keep pressed all the time.
The main restaurant Artigiani offers breakfast and dinner in buffet style. There is plenty of choice and the service is very friendly and attentive. At lunchtime, crispy pizzas and salads are served by the pool. Right next to it is the gelato cart of Marco Serra from Turin - the Michelin star among ice cream makers. Be sure to try it - simply heavenly! You don't even have to leave the Falkensteiner Resort Capo Boi for gourmet cuisine. In the Asian-inspired Kento (for an extra charge), right on the beach, delicious creations with ingredients from Sardinia are served in collaboration with South Tyrolean star chef Theodor Falser.
