ELIX, Mar-Bella Collection
Green oasis for adventures and magical moments
The view seems limitless even from the lounging position: The sea beckons below, the golden yellow Karavostasi beach lined with wooded hills to the left, and the islands of Paxos, Antipaxos and Corfu slumber in pale blue on the horizon like a watercolor painting. Guests in the junior or one-bedroom suites enjoy a similar experience with panoramic views and 50-100 m2 private pools that flow seamlessly into the sea. This is how infinity works! As with the design of the entire hotel, the rooms are also characterized by elegant restraint: Light colors, natural materials and clear lines ensure that the panorama always remains the main protagonist. This also applies to the fine-dining restaurant The Pearl (also the venue for the annual Greek Chefs Abroad event), where you can enjoy delicious specialties such as fresh fish carpaccio with Greek herbs or Parga lamb in lemon butter sauce with a magnificent view. Incidentally, a cog railroad leads to the beach, as does a steep, sporty stone staircase through a pine grove. From here, the imposing ELIX, carved into the wooded hillside on several levels, is barely visible. The architects have succeeded in blending the 146-room and suite resort impressively into the magnificent landscape.
