Dreams Corfu Resort & Spa
A quiet all-inclusive resort despite its size
We are accommodated in one of the terraced bungalows - fortunately on one of the outer sides, which means more privacy. The interior presents itself as a junior suite with a tube layout: terrace, living area leading into the windowless bedroom (no turndown for us) and the bathroom - in short, a compact unit, but with too little storage space.
Despite the large number of guests, there is a relaxed tranquillity, and from almost everywhere you can enjoy the wonderful view of the beautiful, green bay, the sea and the mainland opposite. The water sports station is a floating pontoon in the water. Boats to Corfu Town depart from here - sightseeing by water, a pleasant service. Just as the Dreams Resort's offerings leave nothing to be desired for a relaxing vacation.
However: Although we are in a well-designed all-inclusive resort and a recommendable family hotel, high-end luxury looks different - but this applies to almost the entire hotel industry on Corfu, but the young staff is well trained. Nevertheless, some things are more complicated than they actually are. For example, there are several restaurants - including the Greek Yiayia, the Italian La Trattoria and a seafood grill, but it's a bit of a back and forth until we get our desired reservation time confirmed.
What also stands out negatively: Many dishes are served with the same side dishes over and over again. Culinary adjustments could be made, but the overall atmosphere at least partially compensates for this.
