In April 2022, Hilton celebrated the eagerly awaited opening of the Conrad Chia Laguna Sardinia - marking the luxury brand's debut in Italy. The elegant 5-star hotel on the southern tip of Sardinia, with its many terraces, pools and levels, is slightly elevated and boasts spectacular panoramic views of the golden beaches of Chia. It is surrounded by fragrant gardens with myrtle, pistachio, rosemary and olive trees. The beauty of the surroundings is reflected inside the hotel thanks to the sophisticated design concept of Milanese studio Marco Piva. Wafer-thin, white curtains blow in the wind everywhere and the pleasant, spicy scent of juniper wafts through the entire hotel.
Rooms and suites present themselves with discreet luxury, Mediterranean flair and a feel-good ambience. Private pools and gardens ensure privacy. Our suite is bright and flooded with light and has a large terrace with comfortable lounge furniture. In the comfortable bathroom with Byredo amenities, you can choose between a shower and a marble bathtub. The hotel has two restaurants. La Terrazza serves Mediterranean and international cuisine and boasts a beautiful terrace. It is also unbeatable as a breakfast location. The garden restaurant Sa Mesa was unfortunately closed at the time of our visit. The service is very friendly and helpful, but not quite up to 5-star standard. In the event of a sudden downpour on the terrace, which the awnings could not withstand, the guests had to get themselves to safety, i.e. into the dry, as the staff looked on in stunned amazement.
As part of the larger Chia Laguna Resort , the Conrad Chia Laguna offers its guests access to all of its services. With water sports activities on the beach, several pools, the large Conrad Spa, fitness center, tennis courts, horseback riding and hiking opportunities and a 27-hole golf course in the area, the Conrad Chia Laguna is also an excellent choice for active guests.
