Cheval Blanc St. Barth
The luxury hotel from the luxury group
Three renowned designers and artists are responsible for the look of the Cheval Blanc, which reopened at the end of 2018. They created a tropical garden landscape, modern sculptures and traditional, trendy Aboriginal art. They also installed Moroccan tiles on which baskets from Colombia and carpets from Tibet stand or lie. Despite this - or perhaps precisely because of this - the "Maison" looks as if it has been cast from a single mold.
When choosing your own accommodation , the fundamental question arises: to the beach or to the countryside? For example, there are beach suites with direct access to the beach, but also beautiful bungalows with plenty of privacy and their own pool in the tropical garden or with fantastic views a little higher up on the hill. However, the sufficiently large feel-good rooms with sea views in the main building are also a very good choice. Incidentally, 20 additional hideaways have been available in a newly acquired neighboring building since December 2019.
The restaurant La Case de L'Isle offers a full range of culinary delights. At breakfast, you can choose from very good à la carte dishes, but there is still a little room for improvement with the small buffet and the baked goods. In the evening, dinner is at Michelin-star level. Two amuse bouche and a pre-dessert really round off chef Yann Vinso's menu. It is only logical that the wine list is stocked with the best that France's vineyards have to offer. The ice-cold Ruinart can also be enjoyed on a romantic sunset cruise, which the concierge is happy to organize - an absolute "must" not only for couples in love.
