7Pines Resort Sardinia – Destination by Hyatt

Only ten minutes by car from Porto Cervo , the 7Pines Resort Sardinia opened last year. It is the first Hyatt property on the island and the second in the lifestyle-oriented 7Pines group. The luxurious beach resort with jetty, yacht service, small private beach, access to four bays, two swimming pools and beach club with Michelin-starred chef is surrounded by 15 hectares of wild coastal and nature reserve, directly by the sea. There is a choice of 76 individually designed rooms and suites with sea views or views of the gardens. It is therefore a great disappointment when the view from our Garden Room 707 only falls onto the neighbor's terrace. In addition, it is so dark inside that you need light even during the day, and so cramped that you have to decide: two suitcases or us. There is neither a chair nor an armchair, but they wouldn't fit anyway. The next day, we move into a Seaview Suite, which lives up to its name.

Floor-to-ceiling windows provide plenty of light and flowing transitions between inside and outside. The bathroom features a rain shower, free-standing bathtub and Molton Brown cosmetics. A nice idea is the bar corner with cocktail utensils and fresh limes. If you don't want to mix your own, it's best to have your aperitif in the stylish Beach Club. In the fine dining restaurant Capogiro, chef Pasquale D'Ambrosio spoils you with first-class Mediterranean cuisine.

The culinary concept for the gastronomic highlight of the 7Pines Resort Sardinia, the Cone Club, was developed by two-star chef Tohru Nakamura. The location alone is pure magic. Spectacularly situated between granite rocks and the azure blue sea, the club overlooks the Maddalena Islands and imposing yachts, which are served by the club's own tender service. The menu is based on regional recipes with an Asian touch and products from local farmers and fishermen - Nakamura's zero-kilometer philosophy: eccellente.

The Pure Seven The Spa will unfortunately only open later this year.
