the new sunset hotspot on the island

The exposed location of the 7Pines high above Ibiza's west coast, with a view of the mystical rocky island of Es Vedrà, is one of the most beautiful on the island.
Every evening, the sunset is celebrated here with a gong ritual. The first hotel in the new "7Pines Hotels & Resorts Collection" opened in summer 2018. Nothing has been spared: the pool is made of glass, the bar resembles a yacht, yoga is practised on a rocky plateau and the smallest suite measures just 48 m². Between fragrant pine groves and cliffs lie 186 spacious accommodation units. All have floor-to-ceiling windows: This means brightness and lightness, but also limited privacy.
The spacious complex is designed in the style of an Ibizan village. The integrated houses of the remaining locals add to the authenticity. They also explain why you can see the sea from our suite via high-voltage cables, a satellite dish and a camper van. The furnishings are extremely high quality and elegant. However, the bathroom only has a washbasin with limited storage space and the toilet is not separate.
A nice idea is the bar corner in the kitchen with ice cooler and mixing utensils such as shaker, lemon squeezer, limes and gin. Too bad there are no loungers on the large balcony. The Instagrammable centerpiece of the resort is the infinity pool (adults only) with endless views of the Mediterranean and a nine-meter-long glass wall - a great photo location. The day begins with breakfast in "The View", with a lavish breakfast buffet and beautiful views - if you can find one of the coveted seats on the terrace. The classic room service at the hotel is called "Home Delivery": ordered by app, freshly prepared pizzas, pasta, sandwiches and salads are delivered directly to the suite door by bike. The meeting point in the evening is the "Pershing Yacht Terrace", a cool cocktail bar specially designed by luxury yacht builder Ferretti. By the way: the originals, three luxurious Pershing yachts (Pershing 74, 5x, 9x), are anchored in the harbor and can be chartered for day trips.
