Seabourn Venture: Seabourn's first expedition ship
Seabourn has announced the name of the first expedition ship coming in 2021: Seabourn Venture.
"The Seabourn Venture name is an exciting step towards even more comprehensive voyages designed specifically for expedition travelers," said Richard Meadows, President of Seabourn. "Together with the team of 26 experts who will bring the expedition experience to life, we will create breathtaking experiences that travelers are sure to remember for a lifetime."
The Seabourn Venture is scheduled for delivery in June 2021.
A second, yet-to-be-named sister ship will follow in May 2022. The new ships, to be built by T. Mariotti, will be a brand new, innovative design created specifically for the ultra-luxury expedition traveler. It will also incorporate many of the features that have made Seabourn ships so successful. At 170 meters in length and 23,000 GT, both new ships each have 132 Oceanfront Veranda Suites for a maximum of 264 passengers and meet the PC6 Polar Class standard. On board are two submarines for excursions into the underwater world, as well as 24 Zodiacs and kayaks for expeditions that start directly from the ship. The successful Ventures by Seabourn expedition program can thus be further expanded.
