The Seabourn expedition experience - more than a promise to connoisseurs and lovers of luxury cruises:
PC6 Polar Class Standard and submarine on board
The name of course says it all: the Seabourn Venture corresponds to the PC6 Polar Class Standard, with two submarines on board for excursions into the underwater world, as well as 24 Zodiacs and kayaks for expeditions that start directly from the ship. The heart of the ship is the Expedition Lounge on deck 4, where guests meet and chat before and after the expeditions. In the Discovery Center, also on deck 4, lectures and cultural events take place, which become real multimedia events thanks to the ten-metre-wide screen. This is where the 26-strong expedition team of naturalists, scientists and historians share their knowledge and experiences. The Landing Zones on deck 3 are also fully designed for expeditions. 60 square meters on either side of the ship, guests change into their expedition gear here for shore excursions and trips with the ship's 24 Zodiac inflatable boats. In tropical waters, diving and snorkeling equipment is stowed here.
How discerning explorers live
The Seabourn Venture is an all-suite ship for a maximum of 264 passengers. The 132 Oceanfront Veranda Suites are furnished with custom-made furniture made of the finest materials, elegant design elements and maritime craftsmanship complement the interior, for which Adam D. Tihany is responsible. The masterpiece on board is the new two-storey Grand Wintergarden Suite - a duplex apartment at sea with 130 square meters and two verandas, a master bedroom with Duxiana Axion high-tech sleeping system, in which the bed can be adjusted silently for the best possible view through the wide glass fronts. The Signature Suites with their own whirlpool and the forward-facing Owners Suites are also generously proportioned. All are looked after by a personal stewardess and are equipped with Swarovski binoculars and state-of-the-art entertainment systems. And all have a heated closet that always has a warm jacket ready for the next adventure.
