New routes

Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours is adding 17 new routes to the Scenic Eclipse's program for 2022 and 2023. Due to its design, the world's first "Discovery Yacht" can also call at small and less frequented ports. Guests can also explore the surroundings by helicopter and the underwater world with the on-board submarine. The absolute route highlights include the Russian and Norwegian High Arctic. Here, travelers experience waters criss-crossed by ice sheets and impressive wildlife. The islands of Novaya Zemlya are particularly interesting, as they still serve as a base station for the Russian military today. A 13-day trip from Tromsø to Copenhagen also takes you to the far north, with stops on the Lofoten Islands and in the Norwegian fjords. Along the way, travelers can climb the granite mountain of Torghatten, marvel at the world's largest polar bear cave and mingle with the inhabitants of small fishing villages.
