Oceania Cruises bans plastic bottles on board

As part of its "Sail & Sustain" sustainability program, the premium cruise line Oceania Cruises has announced that it will no longer use single-use plastic bottles on board its entire fleet.

Instead, the company relies on environmentally friendly water distillation systems and reusable bottles that guests can take home with them at the end of their trip. Calculated savings potential: 3 million bottles per year! We think this is a good start, which must now finally be followed by clean propulsion systems - and not only at Oceania Cruises.
