New routes with Hapag-Lloyd Cruises
Underway with four ships from April 2021
The ships' new routes will continue to take them along popular European destinations. The HANSEATIC inspiration is embarking on aurora borealis adventures in Norway's fjord world up to the North Cape, while the HANSEATIC nature is setting off on new expeditions to the Frisian Islands, southern Norway, the Shetlands, Orkney, the Hebrides and the Danish South Sea. The two luxury ships EUROPA and EUROPA 2 will be sailing to popular sunny destinations this spring. The former will travel to cultural cities such as Lisbon, Tallinn, Gdansk and St. Petersburg as well as small, fashionable ports such as Capri and Bonifacio on seven- to ten-day voyages. The EUROPA 2 cruises to the Canary Islands.
With optimism into the future
"We are very confident that we will be able to add more destinations to our program in spring 2021 and are therefore planning to put the entire fleet back into service," says Karl J. Pojer. The CEO of Hapag-Lloyd Cruises promises: "Our new routes offer a lot of variety to nearby destinations in Europe. It is our aim to return to the regular timetables as soon as possible in the second half of the year."
Hapag-Lloyd Cruises already resumed its ocean voyages in summer 2020. 30 newly launched voyages and around 4,000 satisfied guests have shown that luxury and expedition cruises are possible in a safe yet enjoyable setting. We will continue to take a cautious, gradual and particularly controlled approach. Of course, all guidelines issued by the relevant authorities and experts are strictly adhered to, and Hapag-Lloyd Cruises' comprehensive prevention and safety concept goes even further.
Bookings for the new voyages are possible from December 28, 2020: www.hl-cruises.de
