MS Bremen: "inspired by nature"

Nature as a source of inspiration

14 days, 400 workers on board, 861 items on the to-do list, as well as 1,300 liters of freshly-sprayed paint and 1,920 m2 of newly laid carpeting: since the shipyard visit just ended, the MS Bremen has not only shone in new splendor; the Hapag-Lloyd Cruises expedition ship is also "inspired by nature"! This is the motto for the new interior design, which is intended to reflect the idea of expeditions and the experience of nature in the walls, furniture and fabrics. What we particularly like: In order to protect the sensitive sailing areas of the MS Bremen in the best possible way, some environmentally friendly innovations have also been introduced in the technology. For example, the ship's bow thrusters and stabilizers will be operated with environmentally friendly bio-oil in future. Furthermore, a ballast water treatment system has been installed to prevent environmentally harmful microorganisms from entering the sea.
