Silversea Cruises recently launched two new ships

On both the classic cruise ship Silver Moon and the expedition ship Silver Origin, guests can expect plenty of space, luxurious comfort and perfect service.

Two new additions to the fleet


As the epitome of luxury travel in the 21st century, the Silver Moon boasts a number of innovations. Debuting aboard the luxury ship is the innovative new culinary enrichment program S.A.L.T., an acronym for Sea and Land Taste, which allows guests to enjoy a range of regional gastronomic experiences both on board and ashore. One of the eight largest restaurants on board Silver Moon is S.A.L.T. Kitchen, which offers a regional food and wine menu tailored to the destination. S.A.L.T. Lab offers guests the opportunity to learn about local ingredients and artisan techniques through insightful workshops and tastings, and the S.A.L.T. The Silversea Origin is the only ship in the fleet to sail exclusively to one destination: the Galapagos Islands. A team of Ecuadorian experts as guides, the highest crew-to-guest ratio in the Galapagos - no more than 100 guests on board - eight Zodiacs and flexible and adaptable multi-purpose areas are the best prerequisites for an extraordinary journey.
