The offer from Tripadvisor subsidiary viator.com promises a remedy. The company offers selected trips for individual "shore excursions" in 200 popular cruise ports. Want some examples? A four-hour food & wine walk to Naples' secret culinary addresses is available from € 85 per person. And the three-hour scooter tour through Nassau in the Bahamas costs € 74.75 per participant. Excursions suitable for cruisers start and end at the port - and on time! Should participants miss their ship, they will be transported to the next port at the organizer's expense.
