Celebrity Cruises offers an upscale, premium vacation experience at sea aboard its 15 ships. One of the unique features of the Edge Class ships is the Magic Carpet, the free-floating platform on the starboard side of the ship that provides additional space on the Resort Deck as a bar and lounge area during the day and serves as an extension of a specialty restaurant in the evening—with guests always floating directly above the sea. The Magic Carpet also serves as a comfortable tender lounge. ● Among the innovative accommodations are the “Edge Villas”—two-story, 88-square-meter villas with a private plunge pool and their own veranda. One advantage of this design is that even in inclement weather, the cabin offers a fully glazed balcony—a sort of winter garden on the high seas. The Retreat features only exquisitely appointed suites, available in various sizes, all with private balconies. Suite sizes range from 24 to 34 square meters of living space (Sky Suite) to 69 square meters (Edge Villa) and up to the 175-square-meter Iconic Suite, the largest and most luxurious suite in the entire fleet. Only the finest materials have been employed throughout, and each suite boasts floor-to-ceiling windows that afford panoramic ocean views.
