Blue letter for Hurtigruten?

Hurtigruten's monopoly on the legendary mail ship route from Bergen to Kirkenes will only last until the end of 2019.

         
Then the state treaty ends and the 2,200 km route is reassigned. Insiders suspect that up to three shipping companies will then be transporting mail and passengers through Norway's fjords. Hurtigruten should be able to cope with the loss, after all, the traditional shipping company has been operating in many other areas of the world for several years now - albeit without the much-loved mailbags on board ...
