Mallorca: DER Touristik offers free PCR tests for package tour guests

Fans of Mallorca have been waiting a long time for this: Holidays in Mallorca will soon be possible again, just in time for an Easter vacation in the sun. DER Touristik is now offering its guests a special service for new bookings: Anyone who books a flight package holiday to Mallorca with tour operators Dertour, ITS and Jahn Reisen from 16 to 22 March 2021 in the travel period 27 March to 30 April 2021 will receive the test required for the outward and return journey free of charge.
In cooperation with the renowned analytical laboratory Kneißler, the test for the outward journey can be carried out easily and conveniently at home, including an official test certificate. The customer receives all the important information about the procedure after booking. Everything is also optimally prepared for the return journey. If a test is required on site, the guest can have it carried out by DER Touristik's mobile medical teams on Mallorca. Commercially available self-tests are currently not valid for entry to Mallorca. Only PCR laboratory tests are currently accepted. These are delivered to the homes of DER Touristik customers.

Accordingly, some restrictions have been eased on Mallorca, including in the catering sector. The Balearic Islands have also further optimized their hygiene and prevention concepts and DER Touristik has also implemented extensive measures with the local hotels to ensure the safety of their guests.
