With P&O Cruises to the Northern Lights

Until now, anyone who wanted to cruise through Norway's snow-covered fjord landscapes had to rely on the Hurtigruten mail ships.

Although they have a lot of fans and offer the unique opportunity to get to know the country, its people and landscapes as authentically as possible, they (deliberately) do not offer true luxury and that wonderful cruise feeling. The British shipping company P&O Cruises is closing this gap this coming winter with two very special voyages: On board the Oriana in February and March 2017 from Southampton to just before the North Cape! The highlights of the two 12-day voyages include stops in Tromso, Stavanger and Alta as well as the panoramic cruise in the Romdalsfjord. However, the real highlights of the trip will take place high up in the winter sky: The unique Northern Lights are said to be particularly easy to see from the ship!
