Start-up company Kontiki Expeditions

With a coastline of 4,597 kilometers (roughly equivalent to that of Croatia), Ecuador is actually predestined for luxury yachting vacations. The masterminds behind the young start-up Kontiki Expeditions thought so too. They are traveling on two different routes between Zaruma in the south and Mompiche in the north on a luxury yacht with seven extremely stylishly furnished suites. Shore excursions include the country's natural and cultural highlights as well as visits to locals and swimming stops with snorkeling, SUP and kayak tours. On board, guests are spoiled with creative delicacies from regional producers. The expedition-ready yacht also has an open-air wellness retreat, gym, organic bar and indoor/outdoor dining room.
