Genussdorf Gmachl
It is one of the oldest hotels in Bergheim in Salzburg, the Genussdorf Gmachl, where hospitality has been practiced for more than 600 years, surrounded by idyllic nature and yet only a stone's throw away from Salzburg.
Natural materials set the tone at Genussdorf Gmachl - especially regional wood from the hotel's own forest. In addition to the many wooden floors in public areas and rooms, the ceilings are also made of acoustic wood, which is not only pleasing to the ear but also to the eye.
The rooms and suites impress with their coziness and attention to detail. Light-colored furniture, fine fabrics and plenty of light and a view of the garden from the balcony or terrace create an environment in which you immediately feel at home. The spacious village suites with private spa with whirlpool and sauna on the terrace are brand new.
A whole village wellness
The DorfSPA is also a true wellness experience, a slope with various saunas, a wonderfully calming relaxation room with hammocks and a view of the countryside. Vitarium and Private Spa complete the program. The new 25-metre infinity pool in the DorfSPA garden with family sauna is a delight. There is a fitness area and activity room for active guests.
Tasting life: Whether in the Hauben.Gasthof or at FRANZ. Der Wirt. From the regional breakfast to the sumptuous afternoon snack to the fine delicacies of the 5-course toque menu in the evening - for generations, hitting the right taste buds has been an important concern for the Gmachl. Head chef Andreas K. attaches great importance to the best raw materials, village-urban recipes and natural flavors. The Genussdorf Gmachl also includes an original village store, an in-house brewery and a butcher's shop.
