Simply take a deep breath: the design destination PURESLeben is located in the midst of southern Styrian nature. Vacation homes that skillfully combine old and new.
When wood grown over centuries offers a home. When freedom reflects a sense of living. When you find culture in the midst of a cultural landscape. Then you inhale the PURE feeling of life! For all these reasons, the Silly family has started to build unique vacation homes. Houses that stand out and soothe. That give warmth and become home. That stand undisturbed in the middle of vineyards or orchards. And new houses are added from year to year...
Divided into two categories - site houses and premium houses - and spread across various beautiful destinations in southern Styria, they are fully equipped with a kitchen, living room and bedrooms and some have a pool and outdoor sauna. The premium house category offers space for two to four people and impresses with its extraordinary architecture in unique natural locations: Well-being, warmth and water are at the heart of the living concept, as the houses have relaxation areas including a panoramic sauna and pool or natural biotope. The elements of earth, fire, water and air come together harmoniously to create a place of complete well-being. New in the portfolio since 2019: The Wuggitz barn. The 200-year-old hay barn was dismantled, repaired and rebuilt 100 percent true to the original. The result is a modern vacation home with an authentic façade made of weathered old wood, natural stone and a large glass front that offers a view of the vast hilly landscape of southern Styria. On 80 square meters with space for two guests, there is an open fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious dining and living area and a bathroom with shower and Roman bath. Outside, a private panoramic sauna and a heated pool provide relaxation. High-quality furniture and honey-colored tones exude a cozy atmosphere. Stadl Wuggitz is the eleventh house in the PURESLeben portfolio and, as a premium house, provides living comfort at the highest level.
The premium house Grabenschake offers an absolutely secluded location with 55,000 square meters of meadow, forest, nature and three own fishing ponds. A wonderful view from every corner, thanks to the unique complete glazing with a view of the valley, mountains and the very quiet, sunny, mild location. The absolute highlight is the 10-metre-long heated panoramic outdoor pool, which holidaymakers can use in summer as well as on cold winter days. The team around Dietmar Silly has also thought of sauna lovers and built a Finnish panorama sauna with a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding mountain forests.
PURESLeben not only stands for exceptional vacation homes, but also for pure enjoyment! Dietmar Silly has been welcoming guests to his new Kuchl since November 2020. Both restaurant and event location, the heart of PURESLeben in southern Styria promises an authentic ambience, traditional cuisine from the wood stove and exclusive tastings of Silly's own wines. Within the high walls of the former wine barn, a place for socializing and enjoyment is created, where the down-to-earth gets its own big stage. The brothers Dietmar and Gerald Silly prepare their own Styrian menus using seasonal ingredients from their own farm in the wood-fired oven in the large parlor. Homemade PURESLeben products such as wines, oils and spreads are also on sale to give guests the opportunity to experience the luxury of simplicity at home. PURESLeben delicacies can also be ordered for home delivery. Silly classic wines, juices, oils, vinegars and other Styrian delicacies from selected regional producers in Austria are offered in the company's own online store. There are also specially compiled packages and vouchers to give as gifts.
Since spring 2025, PURESLeben has scored with two culinary innovations. Each of the twelve designer vacation homes has been fitted with a firebox from the company Urleben, continuing the tradition of cooking over an open fire as a symbol of hospitality and authenticity. Also owned by the host family Silly, the start-up combines ancient cooking methods with the best modern ingredients. High-quality products, preferably from the family's own farm, are used for the dishes. The PURESLeben team delivers them directly to the vacation home, where they can then be prepared in the box itself. The menu includes beef wellington, whole salmon trout or tomahawk steak, always served with classic side dishes such as potatoes and vegetables. Another new addition is the rustic Feitlbauer farmhouse. This cozy place to stop for a bite to eat is located in Obergreith, not far from the vacation homes in the middle of woods and meadows. PURESLeben guests dine here mainly in summer and in the open air at the rustic oak table. The menu includes hearty snacks, fresh salads and Styrian classics such as "Henn'" - always made from home-grown ingredients and meat from the neighboring Silly farm.
