Ikos Dassia
All-inclusive deluxe for families
As is usual at Ikos resorts, there is a very wide range of culinary options, in this case in eight different restaurants. We like Ouzo with its Greek cuisine because we like to sit outside and close to the sea. Dinner there is either very early or very late. This is a little irritating, as there would have been enough tables free in the meantime. The large selection of good Greek wines is always great. This also applies to the Provence with its really first-class French cuisine and beautiful views. There are various "adults only" areas in the resort. Lunch at Ergon, for example, is reserved for adults.
You can hear the street a little in our very small standard room on the fifth floor, but the aircraft noise at Ikos Dassia is less than at other hotels on the east coast. In general, the lower room categories are not particularly luxurious and are not recommended. Our tip: it's better to choose one of the larger bungalow suites with a pool near the beach - preferably in the Deluxe Collection area, where the all-inclusive offer is even higher with free spa treatments and dinner on the beach.
What you should know: Thanks to the water playground and free childcare, the Ikos Dassia is very family-friendly - and we didn't mind the sometimes turbulent hustle and bustle under the Greek sun.
